Wow

I've been bad at keeping this up to date this week. Everything has me going crazy. I'm super busy with a lot of things and at the end of the day it seems like I accomplished nothing. ugh, Tonight I'm baking it up..get it? making it up. Never mind. The truth was I didn't have time to run to the store to grab cupcake liners. I had none. I just got a hold of some yesterday by the way "Thanks, Mom!" I said that out loud too. So, come tonight there will be another cupcake to blog about. Know best. For now look at how cute these liners are!

Halloween Cupcakes 2009 (Vegan)

Wuttt. I think last years cupcakes have nothing on this year's cupcakes! Why? because these fucking cupcakes rule. Last night was such a long night but worth every second I put into making these bad boys look super cute and rad. I'm not good at updating sooner in the day. My days have been super busy this week. So, please understand. I wish I could post when its still light out, but oh well shit happens. I don't even think I have to write about these cupcakes I mean really? just look at them... they speak for themselves. soo cute. Today (Thursday) I also baked four dozen cupcake orders. Wutt? I know I'm working hard. Tonight(Friday) I will also be working just as hard. I think I got about four more dozens to go as well. One special dozen for the show in Berkeley...we'll see what happens if anything does. Well, I'm tired. Tomorrow I'm carving another pumpkin, it should be fun. I know its not cupcake related but still maybe you might care? if you read this. I don't know. I'm just going off subject because I'm tired.

I don't think it would matter 'cause I'll be at a show anyways in lovely Berkeley, Ca! Jealous much? :] Alright I can't think of anything else to write about and I'm falling asleep as I type. Stay Sweet Cupcakes Shirts pt. 2(Update)

So, todays blog isn't a baked good. But its about cupcakes & my future company. I decided I will call my cupcakery Stay Sweet Cupcakes (if it wasn't obvious), these are the first ever Stay Sweet Cupcakes printed shirts. The fact that I keep doing what I do is because of the support I get from family, friends, & even strangers. Plus, its because I love baking (cupcakes)! The fact that I am good at something makes me proud of myself. I love the compliments I receive when I sell a cupcake or five. It feels good. And knowing I will be doing this the rest of my life (if everything works out) doesn't bum me out. So, back to why this blog isn't about an actual cupcake but a shirt & not me going off subject.
My lovely friend Brittney was kind enough to send me pictures of the finished shirts. I am beyond stoked about getting to sell these as soon as next weekend. As I said before they are very limited. I asked her to send me a picture of what I have, to show the readers of this blog, how very little I have & the different color of shirts. She was also kind enough to give me the exact sizes & number of shirts. 1 xlarge, 2 mediums, 3 youth large, 1 large 2 smalls. Plus, we made a very limited black on black (which I believe is a YL). Will it be on your body? You tell me. Again, if you ever had one of my cupcakes/want to spread the word about me and my cupcakes or just want it because its an awesome shirt design and could careless what I do? Get at me before they are gone. I don't think I will do a second pressing. So act fast!

Chocolate Orange Cupcakes (vegan)

What to say. If you enjoy a nice juicy orange well your not going to get any juice from these cupcakes. you might get that sweet same taste of an orange, well because they do contain orange, so it will be as yummy as an orange, but its not. Weird? I know. But thats the life of a cupcake. It may look like a plain cupcake getting ready for Halloween, which by the way is a week away. But its not. This explodes with a taste of ORANGE. FTW. Seriously. These Chocolate Orange Cupcakes are going with me tonight to a show. The Skin Like Iron, Streetwalkers, Crucial, & others show @ the CYC. I'm stoked. I hope I sell out and so I can blog about it later. We'll see what happens.

soo good!They definitely brought the party. I swear if all the kids in the cyc circle pit it would of been a blast. Skin Like Iron was pretty sweet. These Orange/Chocolate Cupcakes were a hit.

Chocolate Cherry Creme Cupcakes (vegan)

Am I describing a cupcake or a pie? jeezie louizee. Its a cupcake. Don't worry. Cupcake blog = cupcake talk. Chocolate Cherry Creme Cupcakes, FTW. This cupcake completes life. I mean really what CAN'T cupcakes complete? Tell me. Today I was invited to a vegan potluck. I decided these cupcakes would be perfect for the gathering. They were a hit (like always), ha ha. Cupcake description: chocolate cake- very moist & yummy. Buttercream- Basic Vanilla. Chocolate Ganache, chocolate sprinkles, & duh, Cherries. Wanna get serious? I can totally get serious when it comes to making simple cupcakes look complicated. I'm pretty serious. It wasn't too hard to make it look all fancy. It was all fun, clean and easy. This cupcake definitely looks like it means business. Don't cha think?


P.s I also made a dozen of Peanut Butter Bombs, I mastered another skill, dipping stylin' 'em cupcakes. I think I'm pro level. Which one do you like?

Old School Cupcakes (Vegan)

Or whatever you want to call them. I think old school gives it a touch a little BAM! don't you think? Well, if you don't then whatever I don't care. I like the name Old School Cupcakes. Remember these cupcakes? like chuck taylors they come in pairs. They ruled whenever I had one as a kid. I haven't had, I guess you can say, the "real" store cupcake in years. I seen them at stores with their pretty in orange, yellow & whatever else color they come in. But I just never really cared to buy one. I mean seriously why buy some that contain beef fat or some other crazy distinguishing shit when I can just make my own. Vegan Style. Plus, homemade is always better in cupcakes, gifts, food, Mixtapes, Mix cds, friendship bracelets & baked goods form. C'mon you know its true. So, before I start going off subject like always These cupcakes had everything from what I remember the real ones have. You got your chocolate cake, Creme filling, chocolate ganache & that sweet little cool swirl on top. I know mine suck, but give me a damn break it was my first time ever trying this recipe out. I think it was a success! I took this dozen along with a dozen of funfetti (my favorite) to a show that happened a couple of hours ago. Sold them all! Wuttt. Nights like these rule. You know what else rules? Babes. I think this cupcake really brought the old school tonight. I went to a show and felt like I was 14 again the different vibe, people, smell and company made it all feel that way. I seen a really old friend I haven't seen in literally years. I also seen a few old faces I haven't seen in years as well, not friends just faces. These cupcakes really do bring back the old times. Crazy. Anyways, these were a hit. I think these might be the next Peanut Butter bombs everyone gets crazy about? I don't know. You tell me. I left home with two dozens of cupcakes and came back home with two. These were everything you expect from a cupcake: Moist, Super Cute, fun to look at & Yummy, duh!p.s I had camera all along? I mean really did I forget? nah, I was just too lazy to care to look for it. Aren't these pictures fancy?
