Dia De Los Muertos... (Day Of the Dead)

As most of you know, whoever reads this or knows me personally, I am deeply in love with anything cupcakes, day of the dead, and pizza. When I got asked to do a theme cupcake order of day of the dead I thought HOLY SHITFUCKDICKMUTHERFUCKER YES! and told the person asking for the request that I would be more than happy to do it. I love this art. I am glad its part of my culture and a tradition that has been past down to me from my grandfather. And I will keep it alive until I die, even if I don't ever have kids, I will do what I can. Anyways, these looks pretty basic right? WRONG! These were soo time consuming and so much detail went into these I can't believe the price I sold them for. And to top it off they came out beautifully, but the picture taken doesn't really show how pretty they really are. I used some vanilla from mexico and the cake flavor is "churro" yeah, these bad boys are all around amazing. I'm not really authentic, I will admit I am really whitewashed and americanized, So I tried my best to give it a Mexican touch. So, yeah. Not much has been going on lately, well, I have been getting orders, but they are all repeats of what has already been post on this blog (Idon't mind at all!) but as soon as a new flavor comes along I'll post that bad boy right up! But enjoy my hard work...

Today I did baked some Halloween cupcakes, if you are a follower of my blog you will remember when I was ranting about how I need to make my little sisters cupcakes better than last years. Well, I did. That will be in tomorrows blog. Today I just had to blog about these sweet patches. Two more days until Halloween! I still don't know what I'm going to be. I don't think it would matter 'cause I'll be at a show anyways in lovely Berkeley, Ca! Jealous much? :] Alright I can't think of anything else to write about and I'm falling asleep as I type.
