The Lady Gaga "Cherry Cherry BOOM BOOM!"

Fans of the gaga or just fans of cupcakes.
This is for you.

I will admit I've listened, jammed, and sang along to a few gaga songs. I'm not the crazy fan who will dress up like a condom or light bolt to prove I listen to her or "express" how I feel towards the world, but I listen to her.

While making this cupcake I didn't want it to look like shit piled on shit I wanted it to look cute, yummy, and delicious and the original name for it wasn't "the gaga" and my skills in the kitchen have improved. So I thought it would be fair to blog about this awesome cupcake again since it looks way better than the first time I've ever made it. So, I just had this song stuck in my head forever after spending a few days with one of my younger sisters, the 15 year old one, and hearing the words "Cherry cherry boom boom..." how ever else it goes constantly coming out of her mouth other than "whatever jan, shut up jan, omgah jan." and being schooled that it was a lady gaga song.

That is when it hit me
THE LADY GAGA!
"cherry cherry BOOM BOOM!"

Cherry Limeade Cupcakes

I picked up some cherry extract and got carried away, today I baked Chocolate Cherry Bombz, and the other day (Thursday) made these bad boys Cherry Limeade, remember the soda? that was the best. I'm sure they still have it around. I just haven't found it, which, is a good thing. That is the last thing that needs to be on my mind and in my body. Anyways, These were made for a show, what it consisted of was cherry, lime and cake, yumminess in all. I think it felt more like spring when these cupcakes where sold at this show. That is going to be my goal for this Summer, bake more fresh fruit cupcakes. But, the only downfall, I would have to sell them at a dollar instead of .50, but common, its not that much of a difference. I need new ideas for cupcake flavors. Oh yeah, I might also introduce vegan ice cream cupcakes, I have done regular ice cream cupcakes before (very time consuming) but very very worth while, anyways, that might also be on the menu, for those of you planning on ordering or going to shows in the Summer. Look out!
Here is what I sold today at Chinese New Year 2010:

(Mint Cookies&Cream, Peanut Butter Bombs, Chocolate Cherry Bombz, & Coconut Lime Cupcakes)

And here are a few still imagines that captured some of my funfilled day:

So, I have been thinking about this, it was brought to my attention. I can in a way "promote" bands with Stay Sweet Cupcakes(of course I have no money to give, but!), as they come through Fresno and every time they stop to play or whatever I will bake them a dozen of cupcakes of their choice as long as they help spread the word on Stay Sweet Cupcakes, if you are interested and are in a band and some how read this boring blog and tour quite a lot and love cupcakes hit me up! that would be rad. two things I love supporting bands and spreading the love for cupcakes. Chocolate Cherry Creme Cupcakes (vegan)

Am I describing a cupcake or a pie? jeezie louizee. Its a cupcake. Don't worry. Cupcake blog = cupcake talk. Chocolate Cherry Creme Cupcakes, FTW. This cupcake completes life. I mean really what CAN'T cupcakes complete? Tell me. Today I was invited to a vegan potluck. I decided these cupcakes would be perfect for the gathering. They were a hit (like always), ha ha. Cupcake description: chocolate cake- very moist & yummy. Buttercream- Basic Vanilla. Chocolate Ganache, chocolate sprinkles, & duh, Cherries. Wanna get serious? I can totally get serious when it comes to making simple cupcakes look complicated. I'm pretty serious. It wasn't too hard to make it look all fancy. It was all fun, clean and easy. This cupcake definitely looks like it means business. Don't cha think?

P.s I also made a dozen of Peanut Butter Bombs, I mastered another skill, dipping stylin' 'em cupcakes. I think I'm pro level. Which one do you like?
