Win Win Situation Cupcake aka (un)frozen banana cupcake

I have a cool, weird, tasty, nice combination cupcake to share.

Remember that cool trip to Santa Cruz Boardwalk and all that carnival food you swear you have to have, but instantly regret it when the cashier tells you "okay that'll be 10.98" and all you get is a damn supposedly foot long corndog and its like short of a foot and ends up going to waste after you ride that crazy roller coaster? Well, this cupcake is nothing like that trip. Instead its like that frozen banana pop you really wanted to spend your $20 on but just bet your friend you could eat that foot long corn dog in 80 seconds and well, you lost a bet and your corn dog, but don't worry with this cupcake you win...

I give you the frozen/unfrozen banana cupcake
F.A.Q

Can one add peanuts? sure.
How about no peanuts? sure.

stick them in the freezer for about an hour and its frozen or keep them at room temp and its not. Whatever you choose it won't be a bad choice.
its a 'win win situation cupcake' its all up to you how you choose to eat it and you will be glad you went with your choice ;)

(ps if you can help me make a banana look appealing, uuh let me know..all I think of is dirty thoughts when I look at a banana, whoops...)

The Lady Gaga "Cherry Cherry BOOM BOOM!"

Fans of the gaga or just fans of cupcakes.
This is for you.

I will admit I've listened, jammed, and sang along to a few gaga songs. I'm not the crazy fan who will dress up like a condom or light bolt to prove I listen to her or "express" how I feel towards the world, but I listen to her.

While making this cupcake I didn't want it to look like shit piled on shit I wanted it to look cute, yummy, and delicious and the original name for it wasn't "the gaga" and my skills in the kitchen have improved. So I thought it would be fair to blog about this awesome cupcake again since it looks way better than the first time I've ever made it. So, I just had this song stuck in my head forever after spending a few days with one of my younger sisters, the 15 year old one, and hearing the words "Cherry cherry boom boom..." how ever else it goes constantly coming out of her mouth other than "whatever jan, shut up jan, omgah jan." and being schooled that it was a lady gaga song.

That is when it hit me
THE LADY GAGA!
"cherry cherry BOOM BOOM!"

(Chocolate cherry cake, cherry buttercream, cherry sauce, chocolate ganache)

HEY! HI! YO! HOLA!

I'm not dead the cupcake gods have not executed me...yet! I'm still alive!
But I will admit I've been lagging on this blog. Lagging hard. I apologize.

Personal problems have gotten in the way of that. I'm just getting back to 'normal' living. I won't bore you with all that, but just know that I will post a new cupcake picture in the next blog (later on today?)

For now, I've been getting so much support and orders its awesome.

As of Feb. 20th cupcakes at shows moved up to $1.00 ( I know, I know) .50 more isn't that bad! Its because ingredients for these bad babies are so so EXPENSIVE!! Of course they were before, but for some reason they risen up more than what I have in my pocket and have you seen gas prices lately? holy cup-cake! they are insane. And the bus now charges 1.25? really? Do I want to keep change in my pocket and who walks around with one damn quarter? not me! I rather walk around. What does this nation think we are robots? Oh, yeah, they do. I even higher the price for a dozen, not by much, I think a $1-1.50. Don't worry I'm sure I'm still the cheapest cupcake maker selling all this vegan gold to yall, so YOU WIN! WOOOOOO! Anyways, I just wanted to update this ghost town blogspot just in case someone anyone reads it and just assumed I was executed by the mighty cupcake gods. I'm still here. Destroying in kitchens and filling up those bellies.

RAGE. New Song

I like raging about rad things. I like talking about gnarly things. But most of all I like baking sweet things. Like ya know cupcakes? and what I like better than that are pictures from people who eat Stay Sweet Cupcakes, or wear Stay Sweet Cupcakes shirts. Those rule more than ever. It warms my heart, which is hard to do. But it makes all my hard work worth it.
When I get sent pictures I get all excited and always think about tons of things to write. Then when I come to post about it, I forget what I wanted to say. Ha, fml. Anyways, these two dudes rule. vxdedxv does all of my sweet Stay Sweet songs, which mean a lot to me. He also helps with trying to get my name out there and real supportive which I think is sweet. So, make some time to check this dude out! He was on a comp cd with other vegan straight edge rappers.

Get on this train and check him already BandCamp(vxdedxv) Myspace(vxdedxv) and also: youtube(VXdedXV) and follow him on twitter: @vxdedxv

Just do it!

This next rad dude is John from pg. 63 wearing the first and only SSC shirt black on black, it was really hard to depart from this T-shirt since it was righteous. Just look at the damn picture its fucking rad, black on black. But I think it went to a good home and I'm glad he knows how to rock it. It was awesome meeting this dude a few months back when he toured with DEAD ICONS, Solid dudes and definitely worth checking out as well!

This dude keeps it DIY he helps run a small t-shirt company, record label, small distribution. Do yourself another favor and check what he has to offer out! Pg.63 and follow him on twitter: @pg63 and then spread the word to your friends and have them spread the word to their friends about these two awesome dudes.

Also, Stay Sweet Cupcakes has a new song posted! by VXdedXV its called "Stay Sweet Core" Get on the train and listen to it!
Stay Sweet Cupcakes Myspace

So, You wanna talk, cupcake?

If someone used that pick up line on me, I'd probably instantly rip my heart out and give them it, not really. That does not even make any sense. But what does make sense is having cupcakes a your birthday party, duh.
A very lovely lady and very awesome friend of mine purchased a few dozen of cupcakes to have at her birthday, she was kind of enough to let me do them for her! I was definitely down and really happy she wanted me to bake them up for her and best of all make them completely vegan! (she is not vegan!) that was the best part. I had this order since January! So, of course I was surprised this day was finally here (March 7th, 2010) I know, I know, I've been slacking with these updates, I hardly ever have free time anymore, school is killing me, I'm getting as much help as I need, I'm putting in job applications every where, ugh, enough about me it came pretty fast, if you ask me. But don't because I just told you. So, anyways. Her order consisted of four dozens: Red Velvet (Red Head), Color me stoked, Punk n spice, and Blue Berry Lemon creme. An order that is full of flavor. Tons of yumminess! YUM YUM YUMS. I took a few pictures of the Blueberry Lemon creme, but not of the rest! which bums me out, :(. But, its alright, I was lucky enough that she had took a few pictures of them at her party. rad.

on another note today is my dad's birthday: Happy Birthday pops! Love you much!
