Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 2nd try

This time I didn't just step into the kitchen and went from there I actually have been thinking hard about making this cupcake. It's still not perfect, but I'm pretty sure its such a weird combination that you're taste buds can not even keep up with your mind. Yeah, its that good. I had like half of each one I made and instant tooth decay, rotten teeth, whatever you want to call it. It fits into that category of things you should not eat, but you do anyways and regret it later, but secretly don't regret it, its because you have to say you regret it and the next day or week you find yourself doing the exact same thing saying the same words, yeah, its that kind of cupcake... One cupcake can get one through the damn week. Its a good cupcake, but a lot of time has been dedicated to these. So, if you ever get to try one please appreciate it. For this dozen I decided to halve the recipe and make six of them with a cinnamon cake and the other six with a chocolate cake. The frosting also had some cookie dough worked into it. So, pretty much. If you love cookie dough, this is YOUR CUPCAKE its packed with the goodness of cookie dough, yum. I can't really say much about this cupcake, I wanted to do much more to it, but I guess that would be for another time. This time it has really improved since the first post. Don't you think?

more sweet things

Now, that you got that out of the way. This blog is dedicated to some pretty rad people I have met through out the years. Rad dudes, deserve only the best cupcakes I can make.
I'm going to be straight up honest. I feel weird asking "Hey can I take a picture of you eating a cupcake?" Reasons for the pictures? I'm not a creepy lady that has all these pictures of random people or anything like that, just so one knows. I'm starting up a photolog for the stay sweet video that is suppose to happen this Summer and with that I want to provide and share pictures of as many friends as possible enjoying a cupcake. :):

Update, its been forever

I know it has been forever, a day, and possibly ten minutes since I have updated this! I'm so bummed out I haven't kept up with this, but my life doesn't stop. Well, it will stop when I'm dead, but that is not the case. I been a bit busy with Summer, work, hanging out, shows, baseball season, swimming and being lazy. But during that time I have been baking it up tearing it up in the kitchen and I'm beyond stoked on that. So, shirts are coming soon stay patient they will get here. Last month which was May I baked a bunch of goodies. My last post was an 'ice cream cake' that did not come out as awesome as I thought, well, the responses were positive and the cake was yummy but it needed a lot more ice cream, but after that I had an order in for vegan ice cream cake. and I know I had to do it much much better. I'm not much of a cake decorator (duh) but I tried my hardest and I'm pretty sure it was a win. This order was strawberries and chocolate, enough said. Who doesn't like strawberries and chocolate? unless you're allergic then I would understand, but if you're not then you're crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy. But overall these ice cream cakes were fun to make. I know my camera sucks but bare with me I only use my phone camera for pictures of cupcakes and other baked goods. The second one was a peanut butter ice cream cake I made for my sisters birthday it was such a good cake. Peanut butter rules. Also, I decided to re-decorate some cupcakes I already make, my favorite (funfetti) now has a twist to it to make it better I packed sprinkles on top of the frosting it looks pretty fancy and for the cookies and cream I just decided to do it with a regular vannilla cupcake and some crushed up cookies mixed together. Its funny I don't usually use oreo cookies for these cupcakes when I make cookies and cream, but I had a packet laying around the house and decided to go ahead and use them up. I think these two cupcakes rule even more. This blog has tons of random pictures to make up for the time lost. I also did a few for a luau party that happened this pass weekend. I made some pineapple right side up cupcakes and funfetti new style cupcakes. As soon as these cupcakes were laid out they got eaten, it was crazy. I also made a giant cupcake for my roommate doug my sisters boyfriend. But it was a cookies and cream one and it was awesome, even though I didn't eat it the way it came out was just nice. They took it up to Tracy his hometown and enjoyed it there. Pretty sure it was a win. Any ways, I'll stop ranting about nothing and just show ya'll the pictures. here they are:

vIce Cream Cakev

So, I made it. It was made. People enjoyed it. It ruled. It will come up again. Well, Tuesday I have an order for one. I'm excited. It will be way better, duh. I can't wait. Strawberries and chocolate, yum. Well, here are some pictures from this cake. It was made with my favorite ice cream cherry chocolate chip. and I'm sure you can figure out the rest. I know this is not a cupcake related post but it sure is blog worthy. I will soon sometime make a cupcake version and the world would be a better place.
Well, I lied there are some cupcakes in this post. Just plain chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. They didn't sell as well as my other flavors, I wonder why.

Music Video, New Recipes, other things and Shirts!

Yeahhhhhhhh, you read right a music video for the sweet songs vxdedxv writes for Stay Sweet, why? because it would be something fun to do in the Summer, it would promote friendships between the kids in the hardcore punk scene, it will promote the venues of Fresno, The most, the circle pit, and uhh cupcakes!!?!? and most of all it will definitely forever promote DIY.So.....stay tuned! Will be posting up more info trying to do this by the end of this Summer (free cupcake for anyone in the video) how can you resist that? I have a few ideas in mind but I am open to hearing others. Maybe this would take place before a show starts and we can all have fun. Thats all I want and anyone who wants their three seconds of fame can have that. But please remember if you do want to help out, have fun, and want to be part of this don't be a knucklehead and start fights/say rude stuff/ or be a total ass. That is something I don't want this to be a part of, so if you think this is a dumb idea, don't be in it.

On to sweeter things

Also, Stay Sweet will be having new shirts possibly very limited as soon as I save up enough money (which means as soon as save up a few pay checks) I'm going to try to keep them under ten dollars so everyone can support their favorite vcupcakesv by everyone I mean you! and most of you already know what these next shirts will a rip off of..if you have check it www.myspace.com/StaySweetCupcakes while you are there check out the Stay Sweet Core song (that will be the one in the music video) Anyways, a few minor changes I might make before submitting the final draft. like adding a few things that makes it more of a baking shirt than a hardcore band shirt..I want to keep these to a limited edition as well, so, as soon as they are gone, they will be gone foreveer( this time they will be professionally made(well, they will be made by experience people) But I am looking to find a company that is still a very small diy like company to get them from.


On to the sweet rotting teeth stuff...

I have been working on tons of new recipes and still have lots of recipes that need to be done twice, if you are interested in being a test human and are not afraid to eat any cupcake, let me know. So far this week I'm hoping to do an vegan ice cream cake and then possibly vegan ice cream cupcakes. Hopefully I can post that this weekend. But that is just one of many I have in mind. If any bands who are not from Fresno and are on tour care for a dozen or two I won't mind baking extra for five bucks a dozen(since I know you are on tour and money can be tight) just hit me up a week in advance and please have cash in hand. I haven't had much request by bands and I never really did an actual order, but I want to see if this is a good idea so if you are reading this and are in a band that will be coming/playing Fresno soon let me know if you want cupcakes. Also, come see me at a cyc and say HI and let me know what you think of the cupcakes or if there are any flavors you want to try/ or want to see at the next show. I will do my best to meet those request, don't be afraid. I like to think of myself as an awesome person to know, just don't get on my bad side.

RAGE. New Song

I like raging about rad things. I like talking about gnarly things. But most of all I like baking sweet things. Like ya know cupcakes? and what I like better than that are pictures from people who eat Stay Sweet Cupcakes, or wear Stay Sweet Cupcakes shirts. Those rule more than ever. It warms my heart, which is hard to do. But it makes all my hard work worth it.
When I get sent pictures I get all excited and always think about tons of things to write. Then when I come to post about it, I forget what I wanted to say. Ha, fml. Anyways, these two dudes rule. vxdedxv does all of my sweet Stay Sweet songs, which mean a lot to me. He also helps with trying to get my name out there and real supportive which I think is sweet. So, make some time to check this dude out! He was on a comp cd with other vegan straight edge rappers.

This next rad dude is John from pg. 63 wearing the first and only SSC shirt black on black, it was really hard to depart from this T-shirt since it was righteous. Just look at the damn picture its fucking rad, black on black. But I think it went to a good home and I'm glad he knows how to rock it. It was awesome meeting this dude a few months back when he toured with DEAD ICONS, Solid dudes and definitely worth checking out as well!

This dude keeps it DIY he helps run a small t-shirt company, record label, small distribution. Do yourself another favor and check what he has to offer out! Coconut Raspberry Cupcakes

Say what? Yup, you heard right. Righteous Raspberry w/coconut, I think that will be the name of these cupcakes. Sweet. But really, Sweet is what you get when you bite into this cupcake it just leaves you wanting more and more. These are truly the cupcake you want in your mouth, it will be the best combination, ever. Trust me. I don't know words can't really describe what you get out of the cupcakes, well, more words can't. Its a coconut cake, filled with raspberry filling, topped with a piece of coconut cake, topped with raspberry frosting and then topped with coconut, yum. You just got to try one and believe me you won't be disappointed. These like my Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes were invented by me and someone craving something more. My friend vxdedxv wanted a mixture of raspberry and coconut and I definitely came up with this recipe as I was in the kitchen, I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but it all came out rad. Like always right? :) As of now I am back in school, no more Spring Break, bummer. I have about a month left so thats sweet business. Then Summer vacation is here to be all hot and rad, along with Summer I'm going to introduce more fruit cupcakes because sometimes its too hot to just eat a reg. cupcake, or is it?
